The “Work Dollars” program is designed to encourage our members to become more involved in the club. Rather than increasing the dues, we have added a $100 Work Assessment – it is your choice to either pay this or to work it off. Each hour that a membership works will earn them $10 off the Assessment. We will be scheduling a work day once a month that you can attend to earn your hours, of you can choose from the list below.
Rules:
· Each membership has to complete $100 of “Work Dollars”. Any family members included in your membership can earn the hours – although if your whole family is there working for one hour – you only can count one hour (not one hour for every family member that is there).
· Only completed tasks can earn the “work hours”. Just signing up for an activity or duty does not count toward the hours.
· If you have something else that you would like to do that isn’t on the list, please let one of the board members know to approve it.
· Each Membership is responsible for tracking their own hours. You will need to complete a “work hours” form and submit it to one of the board members to get credit. We will be keeping a spreadsheet on the website so you can track your hours and verify that they hours you have worked have been recorded.
· Once you have completed your 10 hours, any additional help will always be welcome, but will not earn you anything towards your membership or towards next years hours.
· If at the end of the season (September) you have not completed your hours we will be sending out an invoice for the remaining balance on your “work hours”.
· Your hours worked will need to be signed off by a board member. These forms will be available on the website.
